Amanda Jocelyn FNP-BC joined the pediatric team at Hurricane Valley Clinic in October 2019 after 12 years at Redrock Pediatrics. Amanda completed her bachelor's degree and masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Utah. Amanda takes a particular interest in adolescents and sports medicine at her practice and facilitating happy and healthy child and family relationships. In 2015 Amanda completed additional training at Primary Children's Hospital as a Child Abuse examiner with the Department of Safe and Healthy Families. Amanda loves spending time outside work with her family and four busy children and takes pleasure in running/biking/hiking and coaching youth sports/activities.

Amanda is amazing. She has always made us feel like we are part of the decision making process. She is very caring, listens and always makes Asher feel comfortable We drive 3 1/2 hours just to continue to see Amanda.

As a parent, I love Amanda. I love they way she spends most of her time talking to and explaining things to the kids and not me. She makes my children feel important and heard. And because of that they take responsibility for their own health and try to apply Amanda's suggestions.

I was wowed by the NP. So glad I took up a friend's recommendation. I'm pretty sure I like her more than our pediatrician back home that we had for 12 years! Bedside manner was amazing. She was fantastic with my children!!!

The doctor didn't answer my questions and told me she had to go and left our exam room. The nurse said someone would call me but never did. I feel this was TERRIBLE service. .

Amanda was amazing with my daughter, she doesn't usually like doctors at all but she loved Amanda! She even sat on the exam bed all by herself and let her do everything she needed to. I was amazed with the service she gave and I am going to ask for her from now on!

Amanda Jocelyn is AMAZING! My daughter and I were here for her sports physical. We saw Amanda last year because we were making an appointment at the last minute and couldn't get in to see her regular doctor. Amanda was so caring and energetic and asked all kinds of questions about my daughter concerning schools, sports, how she's doing mentally. She just really cares about her patients and good went above and beyond any doctor I've known. She takes time to get to know the person. She encouraged my daughter in her future aspirations. I can't say enough good things about Amanda Jocelyn and her medical knowledge was just as good!
