I felt that Dr. Barclay was not knowledgeable about my situation. It felt like he was pretending to know the answers to my questions, when I wished he would have simply admitted he didn't know and sought to find out. He gave me a diagnosis without assessing me first, stared at his computer and notepad the majority of the visit, and didn't demonstrate any empathy toward my situation. I am very disappointed in my experience.

My husband and I were seen together. We both had many issues to discuss so we are sure it was a difficult situation for the doctor. He did well and listens carefully.

Dr. Barclay does an excellent job explaining the tests and test results, works with me to treat my diabetes and hypertension, and listens when I have questions.

I wanted to like the experience, he was kind but I felt like he didn't come across very confident (even though I am sure he knows his stuff) and I felt like he didn't validate the issue. He was good at explaining what he was going to do and was very kind but I felt like he could exude more confidence.

I've always had a good experience with the PA's, but Dr. Barclay just isn't much of a people person. I'm currently looking for a family practice physician for my teenage daughters - I won't be taking them to Dr. Barclay because he is -> not exactly open

Dr. Barclay is a very knowledgeable dr., but doesn't seem to want to interact with patients very much. He seemed eager to pursue treatments that required less work for him or handing me off to a specialist.
