The dr and assistant worked very well together to care for me and perform the procedure I was there for. The dr asked me throughout if I was experiencing pain or discomfort. Before the dr helped situate me in a position I could tolerate well and the assistant helped me move safely off the chair when I was done. The dr told me when to expect a call about results and the assistant said I might see results on app first, but the dr would explain them when he called as if to say try not to be anxious about anything I read. I appreciated both knowing the dr was going to be prompt about calling and to not worry about medical terms in the report if I read results first on app. I decided to just wait for his call and not worry about it knowing he would explain and also he would know what to do next, if anything.

I have had my condition since I was a young child and Dr. Alston was the first doctor to provide me with further explanation of my diagnosis and all treatment options available.

Like I said before, Dr took the time to explain why I was getting sun spots. I will definitely come back if I have other questions or concerns.

I was so impressed with Dr. Alston. He was kind, knowledgeable, personable, and did an amazing job addressing my concerns.

The visit was very thorough and I am pleased with the exam.

Extraordinary bedside manner/people skills. He made me feel inclusive in diagnosis and treatment as he was able to immediately start the assessment with a cheerful greeting and bit of down to earth caring. Great listener, great pace of gathering information and hearing me, seeing me as an intelligent person who needed his expertise. Excellent at decisive course of action and explaining what he thought and how he wanted to treat it and why. Made sure I was onboard with decisions to examine and treatment. Assistant was responsive to his concern I was handling the examination, and I would recommend him to everyone, including myself for other skin issues!

Very thorough exam. I had concerns about a skin lesion on my cheek. Extra time was taken to look at it and remove it.

I was extremely happy in choosing to go to see this doctor. I have always had really great doctors here & decided that I want all my doctors, visits to be at Riverton.

It's always "so much fun" to have someone go over 90-97% of your body with a bright light and microscope glasses. But this is the process until I stop going to dermatologists. Both the doctor and assistant were very professional and thorough.

Absolutely I would recommend Dr. Alston, he was very helpful and explained everything as he took my biopsy. He explained what to expect after the results come back and the after care so little if any scarring would occur on my face.

Dr Alston is a really fantastic provider. His treatment explanations are thorough and he treats us like we are part of the team rather than approaching us as "the expert" (even though he obviously is the expert). He makes my 14 year old daughter feel comfortable and she isn't afraid to talk to him and that's a big deal for a girl with really bad social anxiety.

Doctor explained why he treated two areas on the skin, showed the skin map. Plus he looked at and took a picture of a prior procedure. It looked good, but showed why we will keep an eye on it.
