I work with all kinds of orthopedic physical therapy diagnosis, spine-issues being very prevalent. This past decade I have specialized in the Pelvic and hip area. This can be all kinds of different symptoms. Pelvic and hip pain and general weakness or dysfunction. I see many patients with urinary and fecal incontinence as well as abdominal pain from injuries, Bowel issues and/or past surgeries. I treat both male and female patients. I always incorporate the whole person/body in my evaluation as an issue in the pelvic can have a negative impact on our posture, but also vice versa. A poor and weak posture, can cause weakness and pain to other areas to our body.
Physical therapy of the year in 2008 for the treatment of Interstitial cystitis. Research on the muscles and the aging body 2006. I am physically quite active and prefer the outdoors with hiking, camping and walking my dog. I do some yoga and(more regularly) Pilates. I love to go sailing, my absolute favorite recreational hobby! In the winter the snow is calling and I greatly enjoy skiing; both downhill and Nordic skiing.
