Our mission, history, and leadership
Founded in 2009, the Intermountain Foundation for Homecare and Hospice, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, has one singular purpose: to support the charitable mission of Intermountain Homecare throughout Utah and Southern Idaho. To address our community's ever-growing demand for charity care, combined with steadily dwindling health insurance reimbursement and growing numbers of uninsured patients, the Foundation seeks to forge mutually rewarding, long term philanthropic partnerships with individuals, corporations, businesses, and community foundations in support of Intermountain Homecare.
Each donor's investment strengthens the quality and availability of much-needed homecare services to patients regardless of their circumstances. Every donation is a gift of healing and hope for patients of all ages and their families, who are facing life-limiting illnesses, debilitating medical conditions, recovering from serious injuries or accidents, or coping with the uncertainty of a terminal illness.
