Dell Loy Hansen

Dell Loy Hansen is The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Wasatch Group, a $4 billion real estate development, construction and property management company. Dell Loy’s entrepreneurial spirit has also led him into over 40 real estate related business ventures, including a recycling and waste disposal company in Sacramento. He is also the owner of the Broadway Media Group with six radio stations, and the owner of Real Salt Lake where he recently completed the largest solar project in the state of Utah.

Mr. Hansen currently serves on the Utah Sports Commission Board. He serves on and is the former chair of the Governor’s Board of business and Economic Development for the state of Utah.

He and is wife, Lynette Thorne Hansen, have 10 children and 31 grandchildren. Together they founded 19 charitable foundations, including the Dell Loy Hansen Heart Foundation, which funds cardiovascular research at Intermountain Healthcare, benefiting thousands of patients.

William T. Sause, MD

Dr. William Sause is director of Radiation Oncology and medical director of the Cancer Clinical Program at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is also a clinical full professor at the University of Utah Huntsman Cancer Institute, Department of Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Sause was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and received his undergraduate education at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and later graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his internship and residency at LDS Hospital. His residency also included training at the University of Utah Medical Center, and the University of Southern California.

Der Sause became director of the Radiation Oncology Department at LDS Hospital in 1980. He has a strong interest in clinical research and has been the vice-chairman of the Southwest Oncology Brain Committee, chairman of the Lung Committee of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, and Co-Chair of the Thoracic Steering Committee Steering Committee of CTEP. He is an examiner for the American Board of Radiology, and is the author of approximately 300 publications in peer review journals and has authored many referenced textbook chapters.
