Learn to better manage your chronic condition(s) including diabetes, pain, arthritis, hypertension, depression, fibromyalgia, and others with this 6-week self-management course. The class will be held on Wednesdays and goes from October 9-November 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be led by instructors from the National Tongan American Society.
You’ll learn how to:
- Manage symptoms
- Solve problems
- Use medications as directed
- Handle difficult emotions
- Work with your healthcare team
- Set goals
Participants should plan to attend all 6 workshops in the series and should be 18 or over; if you have small children, please make arrangements to have them tended while you participate.
