Option #1 – HypnoBirthing® + Infant CPR = $165: The HypnoBirthing® course is designed to help women achieve a deep state of relaxation. Classes will allow women to explore their fears, develop realistic expectations about the birthing process, and instill confidence in their ability to use hypnosis as a technique to minimize or eliminate pain during childbirth. This five-week class meets once a week in the evenings for two and a half hours per session. It is recommended for pregnancies between 15 and 32 weeks. This program is affiliated with the HypnoBirthing® Institute and is taught by trained and certified HypnoBirthing® Practitioners. HypnoBirthing® will be held on Tuesday February 11th, 18th, 25th, March 4th & 11th. Each class is from 6:00-8:30pm. Infant CPR is for new parents, grandparents, family members and anyone who wants to learn lifesaving infant CPR and choking skills but does not need a course completion card. This is a 1-hour class that will teach you how to perform CPR on an infant as well as help an infant who is choking. The Infant CPR Class will be held on Tuesday March 18th from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.
Option #2 – HypnoBirthing® + Infant CPR + Baby Care = $175: This course covers the growth and development of a newborn, safety tips, newborn care at home, how to recognize when a baby is ill and when to call a doctor. This is a onetime class and lasts for two hours. Recommended for mom and dad and can be taken at any time. Baby Care will be held on Tuesday March 18th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Note, Infant CPR & Baby Care are held on the same day back to back.
Option #3 – HypnoBirthing® + Infant CPR + Baby Care + Breastfeeding = $185 per couple: The Breastfeeding class is designed to prepare expectant mothers for breastfeeding and is taught by our Board Certified Lactation Consultant and specialized Lactation Registered Nurses. We encourage a support person to attend with mom. You will learn how to get breastfeeding off to a good start with proper latch-on techniques, nursing positions, engorgement prevention and treatments, as well as expression and storage of breast milk. This is a one-time class that lasts for two and a half hours. We recommend attending this between 32 and 37 weeks gestation, however, it can be taken anytime. Breastfeeding will be held on Tuesday March 25th from 6:00 - 8:30pm.
