What to Do if a Healthcare Provider Has Ordered You a Test with Intermountain

  • You do not need to use the symptom checker.
  • Once you receive a text or email from Intermountain with your visit ID, go to your designated testing location. An arrival window is not needed.
  • Paper orders or images of orders are not accepted at testing locations.

Do I need a COVID-19 test?

If you would like to be tested for COVID-19, see if you qualify for a test by using the symptom checker. If you qualify, you will be directed to an Intermountain community testing location.

If you are symptomatic, you should stay home and self-isolate. If you have other health concerns and are also concerned about COVID, contact your provider. If you are having difficulty breathing, blue color around your lips or mouth, or are very weak and unable to stand, this is a medical emergency. Call 911 or have someone take you to the nearest emergency room immediately.
