Class participants will learn how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until Professional help arrives. This course covers topics pertaining to adults, children, and infants. This class is for those who seek to be prepared to help in the event of an emergency. Training pertains to workplace, Scouting, community or childcare situations. This course begins with an online portion followed by a skills pass off with a certified AHA instructor. Participants must pre-register to receive the online access code.
Part 1: Online access keys can be used for initial or renewal certification. Course participants who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate granting them entrance to a scheduled skills pass off (Date and time listed is for the skills pass off). Please print this certificate and bring to the skills pass off. You cannot participate in the scheduled skills pass off without a printed copy of the certificate.
Once the access keys have been purchased and emailed to you, there will be NO REFUNDS.
Part 2: Attend the scheduled skills pass off with a certified American Heart Association Instructor, must pass to qualify for a course card. 24 hour cancelation is required. There is a $25 skills pass off rescheduling fee for those who fail to cancel within 24 hours, no show, or failure to bring certificate.
