Option #1 – HypnoBirthing® + Sibling Class = $160 (Price is per couple for HypnoBirthing® and includes sibling class for all children in the same family): The HypnoBirthing® course is designed to help women achieve a deep state of relaxation. Classes will allow women to explore their fears, develop realistic expectations about the birthing process, and instill confidence in their ability to use hypnosis as a technique to minimize or eliminate pain during childbirth. This five-week class meets once a week in the evenings for two and a half hours per session. It is recommended for pregnancies between 15 and 32 weeks. This program is affiliated with the HypnoBirthing® Institute and is taught by trained and certified HypnoBirthing® Practitioners. HypnoBirthing® will be held on Thursday June 19th, 26th, July 3rd, 10th & 17th. Each class is from 6:00-8:30pm. The Sibling Class is for siblings who are expecting a new baby in their family. The instructor will help them to feel more comfortable with the new arrival and to give them ideas to help them feel more involved in the care of their new baby brother/sister. The instructor has many activities for the children to do in the class to help them get excited about bringing a new baby home. This is a one-time class that lasts for an hour and a half. The Sibling Class will be held on Thursday August 21st from 6:30-8:00pm.
Option #2 – HypnoBirthing® + Sibling Class + Baby Care = $170 per couple: This course covers the growth and development of a newborn, safety tips, newborn care at home, how to recognize when a baby is ill and when to call a doctor. This is a onetime class and lasts for two hours. Recommended for mom and dad and can be taken at any time. Baby Care will be held on Wednesday July 9th from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
Option #3 – HypnoBirthing® + Sibling Class + Baby Care + Breastfeeding = $180 per couple: The Breastfeeding class is designed to prepare expectant mothers for breastfeeding and is taught by our Board Certified Lactation Consultant and specialized Lactation Registered Nurses. We encourage a support person to attend with mom. You will learn how to get breastfeeding off to a good start with proper latch-on techniques, nursing positions, engorgement prevention and treatments, as well as expression and storage of breast milk. This is a one-time class that lasts for two and a half hours. We recommend attending this between 32 and 37 weeks gestation, however, it can be taken anytime. Breastfeeding will be held on Tuesday July 8th from 4:00 - 6:30pm.
