Most oncology patients at Primary Children's Medical Center are admitted to the Immunocompromised Unit (ICS) which is located on the fourth floor and K-pod on the third floor.
Outpatient treatments are performed in the Hem/Onc/BMT clinic on the fourth floor, south of the elevators.
Besides being treated by physicians and nurses trained in pediatric oncology, other specialists are called in to assist with your child’s care as the need arises. Some treatments (like radiation therapy) may be done at another area hospital such as Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), Intermountain Medical Center (IMC) or LDS Hospital.
More information about hospital and clinic care can be found in this section.
