The Family & Friends CPR Class is intended for parents and other family members of patients at risk and members of the community (i.e. grandparents, nannies, daycare workers) who want to learn CPR, but do not need a course completion card (certification). Under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This class teaches infant, child and adult CPR, how to relieve choking, and will familiarize the learner with how an AED (automated external defibrillator) is used. This class is approximately two hours long. At the conclusion of this class, the learner will be able to demonstrate the accurate steps of CPR, demonstrate the proper use of an AED, and demonstrate methods used to relive choking.
