We are pleased to welcome Dr. Susan Rose as the newest physician at the Avenues Women's Center. Dr. Rose will begin seeing patients at the clinic on January 4th.
Dr. Rose is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Utah. She has been in practice since 2007 and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Utah Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Rose sees patients for general Women's Health from pregnancy to menopause. She has a special interest in adolescent medicine, managing menstrual cycles, menopause and contraceptive counseling and care. She routinely sees patients for:
- Pregnancy
- Childbirth
- Infertility
- Annual Exams including pap smears, mammograms, general health checks and and other screenings
- Family planning and contraceptives
- Gynecologic surgery
- Menopausal health
Dr. Rose and her husband have lived in Utah for 12 years and keep busy raising their two young kids – a 5 year old boy and 8 year old girl. As a family, they enjoy the beautiful Utah outdoors by biking, hiking, camping, and skiing together. Dr Rose also tries to find time to run, swim, cook, and sew.
