Dan graduated from Brigham Young University in 2017 and started working in family medicine shortly after. He earned his Associate’s degree in Nursing from Utah Valley University in 2009 and his Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in 2012. It was during his education at Weber State that he decided he was going to continue on to become a nurse practitioner.
As a nurse, Dan has worked in a skilled nursing facility specializing in short term rehab, and then with the ENT outpatient clinic at Primary Children’s Hospital. During his time in ENT he became certified nationally as an otorhinolaryngology nurse (CORLN), 1 of only 6 with that certification in Utah at that time. He is a member of Utah Nurse Practitioners and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
He loves to spend time with his wife and 2 young boys. He also loves playing all sports (golf, basketball, tennis) and enjoys anything outdoors; mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, rapelling, mountaineering, photography, spotting wildlife, and fishing. In addition, he plays guitar and can juggle.
