The Intermountain Foundation at Intermountain Medical Center is part of the Intermountain Research and Medical Foundation (IRMF), which funds a variety of causes throughout the Intermountain Central Region, helping to support patient care and facility development. We aspire to improve the quality of healthcare throughout the world.
In 1970, a group of physicians dedicated to promoting medical research organized the Intermountain Research and Medical Foundation (formerly the Deseret Foundation) at LDS Hospital. We have grown since then, now encompassing five Salt Lake Valley hospitals: Alta View Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, LDS Hospital, Riverton Hospital and TOSH (The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital).
