Intermountain Layton Hospital is your local not-for-profit full-service community hospital, providing Davis County with the latest technology combined with the highest levels of compassionate, personalized clinical care. A level III trauma center, Layton Hospital provides a compliment of services specifically tailored to meet the growing needs of the communities it serves.

Since conception this facility has been designed to facilitate healing with the patient as the focal point of the design and build. A new paradigm of care has been formed by the best and brightest caregivers, working within modern technology, to provide great care for our patients and guests as they enjoy the natural light, calming colors, soothing sounds, and accessible walking paths provided on our beautiful campus.

Layton Hospital is unique, the majority of our staff live where they work. We are neighbors caring for neighbors and we are proud to bring the personal touch needed to ensure each patient's unique needs are met as we strive to help you and those you love live the healthiest lives possible.

History

Intermountain Layton Hospital opened its doors to officially on October 15, 2018. Providing this new front door into the Intermountain Healthcare network to Davis County residents was the culmination of more than a decade of planning, preparing, and developing relationships with community leaders. Bringing this beautiful new campus to fruition required a remarkable financial commitment of $164 million; representing Intermountain Healthcare’s largest investment in Davis County to date.

Over the course of the next decade, we hope to continue to grow with the communities we serve as we offer residents with a comprehensive complement of appropriate services in their own neighborhood, as well as provide them with access to the broader network of specialized healthcare available through Intermountain’s network of hospitals and clinics located throughout Utah, Idaho, and Nevada.
