This eight week class will be led by a dietitian and include interactive presentations, games, and other activities. You will participate in different physical activities during some of the classes.

Breastfeeding Class. Taught by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, this one evening class will help educate expectant parents about the art of breastfeeding and its benefits to both mom and baby.
This class is designed to teach mothers and their birth companion’s techniques for achieving a safe and satisfying birth experience through relaxation, guided imagery, visualization, and special breathing. Classes will allow women to explore their fears, develop realistic expectations about the birthing process, and instill confidence in their ability to use hypnosis as a technique to minimize or eliminate pain during childbirth.
A car seat expert will teach the proper use and installation of car seats for your child. Please bring your car seat if you have questions or would like help with installation. The two-hour class will also review the basics of infant CPR and home safety. Parents, grandparents and your baby’s other major care givers (ages 12 and older), are all encouraged to learn infant CPR skills, and how to identify and respond to emergencies with your baby. Infant CPR classes are taught by certified CPR instructor. It is a great class for anyone who help care for your child.
This course is designed for women who want to deliver with little or no medication. It utilizes the Lamaze techniques of relaxation and breathing, with an emphaisi on touch, stroke and Massage therapy, specialized breathing and medications. A tour of the hospital is included.
This six-week childbirth class should be taken in your sixth or seventh month.
Many Parents-to-be have concerns about the physical and mental preparation necessary for successful parenting. This one-time class will answer many of your questions about infant care, safety, daycare, parent and infant relationships, and fathering issues.
In four sessions, you will learn about breathing and relaxation, labor and delivery, medications during labor, the post-partum period, and newborn care.
Prenatal Weekend Option class offers the same course agenda as the Prepared Childbirth Course into an intensive eight and a one-half hour class.
Class emphasizes the babysitter's responsibility for providing fun and safe child care. Participants learn about infant care, safety, first and, and fun activities.
