This one-day conference is designed to increase the knowledge and expertise of emergency personnel involved in caring for injured patients.
This class is designed to teach mothers and their birth companion’s techniques for achieving a safe and satisfying birth experience through relaxation, guided imagery, visualization, and special breathing. Classes will allow women to explore their fears, develop realistic expectations about the birthing process, and instill confidence in their ability to use hypnosis as a technique to minimize or eliminate pain during childbirth.
A car seat expert will teach the proper use and installation of car seats for your child. Please bring your car seat if you have questions or would like help with installation. The two-hour class will also review the basics of infant CPR and home safety. Parents, grandparents and your baby’s other major care givers (ages 12 and older), are all encouraged to learn infant CPR skills, and how to identify and respond to emergencies with your baby. Infant CPR classes are taught by certified CPR instructor. It is a great class for anyone who help care for your child.
This course is designed for women who want to deliver with little or no medication. It utilizes the Lamaze techniques of relaxation and breathing, with an emphaisi on touch, stroke and Massage therapy, specialized breathing and medications. A tour of the hospital is included.
This six-week childbirth class should be taken in your sixth or seventh month.
In four sessions, you will learn about breathing and relaxation, labor and delivery, medications during labor, the post-partum period, and newborn care.

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Online course is intended for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, CNA’s and those who work in a healthcare setting who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a BLS class. The BLS for Healthcare Provider class covers topics such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), relief of foreign-body airway obstruction and automated external defibrillation (AED).
Capable kids helps prepare children ages 7-13 for self-care when they are at home alone.
The Heartsaver CPR AED Course teaches AED use, CPR, relief of choking in adults, children, and infants, and use of barrier devices for all ages. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements (daycare providers, fitness instructors, etc.).
In Heartsaver First Aid class participant will learn how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies.
