The American Heart Association BLS Provider skills only course is intended for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists and those who work in a healthcare setting who must have credential (card) documenting successful completion of a BLS class.
This class is designed to prepare expectant mothers for breastfeeding.
The Childbirth Preparation class is taught by a Registered Nurse. In this class you'll learn about pregnancy changes, pain management options, breathing and relaxation, labor and delivery, infant feeding options, postpartum adjustments and newborn care.
Class participants will learn basic First Aid Principles and CPR AED use along with relief of choking in adults, children and infants.
The Heartsaver CPR AED Course teaches AED use, CPR, relief of choking in adults, children, and infants, and use of barrier devices for all ages. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements (daycare providers, fitness instructors, etc.).
In Heartsaver First Aid class participant will learn how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies.
Infant CPR Anytime is for new parents, grandparents, family members and anyone who wants to learn lifesaving infant CPR and choking skills but does not need a course completion card.
This course is designed to help women achieve a deep state of relaxation during childbirth.
This class is for siblings ages 2 and up who are expecting a new baby in their family.
