Dr. William Daines is a primary care internal medicine physician at Memorial Clinic in Salt Lake City. Dr. Daines is from New York City but has always had a strong connection to Utah through his family roots in Cache Valley. He attended medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, followed by an internship in internal medicine at the University of Utah and a residency in internal medicine at Stanford University. Following completion of his residency, Dr. Daines worked as a hospital-based doctor at Stanford Hospital for several years before moving to Intermountain Medical Group to provide primary care. Dr. Daines enjoys working with patients to improve health and preserve wellness. Dr. Daines focuses on prevention, evidence-based management of chronic disease, and patient-centered care in order to improve quality and lower costs for patients.
