Personal Bio & Interests
Robert C. Moesinger, MD, was born in Washington DC and grew up in Ogden, UT, graduating from Ogden High School in 1983. He served a mission in West Germany, 1984-5 and married Sheila Loe (OHS Class of 1986) in 1988. They have 5 children, ages 14-25. He graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1992. He then spent 8 years at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, Maryland doing a general surgery residency, research fellowship and clinical fellowship in gastrointestinal and pancreatic surgery. In 2000, he joined the faculty of the University of Maryland as a Gastrointestinal Surgeon, serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery. From 2002-5, he served as Associate Program Director of the Residency. In July 2006, he and his family returned to Ogden where he works as a general and gastrointestinal surgeon at Northern Utah Surgeons, McKay-Dee Hospital, part of the Intermountain Medical Group as well as Ogden Regional Medical Center.
