The upcoming birth of a baby is exciting, but it often comes with questions. At Orem Community Hospital, we want parents — new and experienced — to feel comfortable and prepared for the birth of their baby.

About Our Classes

We offer a number of childbirth education classes to help parents learn what to expect, and how to properly care for a newborn. The classes cover a number of topics and are taught by a nurse educator. Most of our classes are available at our hospital, allowing you to get comfortable with your birthing location. We also offer an online prenatal class for those that prefer to go at their own pace.

Our courses include:

  • 4 Week Lamaze Class
  • 4 Week Prenatal Class
  • Breastfeeding Class
  • Prenatal Seminar
  • Online Prenatal Class

Who Should Take a Class?

Childbirth classes are perfect for:

  • New and experienced mothers
  • Fathers
  • Birthing coaches
  • Moms struggling with breastfeeding and lactation concerns

Mothers are encouraged to take a prenatal class early in their second trimester.
