Primary Children’s Hospital (PCH) serves as the practice site for the Pediatric Residency Program at the University of Utah.

The Pediatric Residency Program at the University of Utah is a three-year program, accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education, leading to certification in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Training at PCH produces general pediatricians, physician-scientists, and sub-specialists who will improve the health of future generations of children. As a major pediatric referral center, PCH provides residents opportunities within academic medical centers and community clinics to serve Utah’s growing number of diverse children and families.

Medical school graduates from nearly 30 states currently train in our program and are drawn to the University of Utah for the opportunities it provides in pediatric education and research.
