The Heart Center at Primary Children's Hospital is committed to providing the highest level of integrated care and treatment to patients with congenital heart disease. Each year our outcomes reflect that we are a premier provider of pediatric cardiac care, consistently beating national care benchmarks.

Beating National Benchmarks

The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) is a national non-profit organization that compiles data and outcomes to create benchmarks for heart surgeries. Primary Children's Hospital participates in STS reporting and continues to exceed national benchmarks, developed with data from contributing children's hospitals.

Data from the 2015 Outcomes & Care Report shows that The Heart Center at Primary Children's Hospital is beating national benchmarks when it comes to overall cardiac surgery survival rate, survival rates in complex procedures and length of hospital stay.
