Fetal Heart Program
The Fetal Heart Program at Primary Children’s Heart Center is a service provided by Intermountain Healthcare and the University of Utah. Our goal is to improve the care of infants with congenital heart disease through early fetal detection, prenatal planning, and expedient management after birth.
By emphasizing family-centered education and counseling we work to improve the quality of care for every child born with congenital heart disease. In order to accomplish this, we are fostering comprehensive coordination of care between pediatric cardiology, perinatology, obstetrics, neonatology, and cardiovascular surgery.
