What We Offer

A Team-Oriented Approach

The Fetal Center team will review your case and our care coordinator will call you to welcome you and arrange your visit.

Your care coordinator will organize your appointments with pediatric specialists and will arrange any special testing that you may need. Some of the specialists that you will meet may include a genetic counselor, social worker, and sonographer.

You will also be seen by other medical specialists as necessary depending on your baby’s condition, including pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, urology, plastic surgery, and other disciplines. Some additional testing may include advanced ultrasound, fetal MRI, fetal echocardiogram, and amniocentesis. These tests will give us more accurate information about your baby and will help accurately assess the diagnosis and prognosis of your baby.

After your evaluation, your case will be reviewed by a multidisciplinary team of doctors and specialist, including your OB/MFM, who will work together to create a personalized plan of care for you and your baby.

Individualized Care

We will meet with you and your family to share our recommendations. These may include guidance regarding the monitoring of your pregnancy, further testing needs or interventions, therapy during and after delivery, delivery time and location, and follow-up after birth. We will help you create a birth plan that can be shared with your caregivers so that each individual involved in your care understands your specific plans and goals.

A Single Point of Contact

We provide you and your doctor with a single point of contact for access to your individualized plan of care. This will

include your diagnostic and medical information, support and resources for you, your family and your doctor.

The Best Outcome Possible

By providing individualized, multidisciplinary care coordination, we offer you educational resources, detailed information about your baby’s condition and treatment options so that you can make informed decisions regarding your care.
