Riverton Hospital is a designated Level IV Trauma Center by the State of Utah Bureau of Emergency Medical Services in 2021. Examples of traumas include severe fractures, extensive lacerations, falls, MVAs, and more. Most trauma and emergency patients who come to our ED can be treated here. We partner with local EMS to improve the care of injured patients in our communities.
The caregivers in our ED can treat any critically ill or injured patient and, in extreme cases, stabilize to transfer via ambulance or LifeFlight. Our ER nurses are certified in adult and pediatric emergency care, and many have years of experience handling all kinds of emergencies.
Because we're part of Intermountain Healthcare, we have speedy access to all the advanced trauma, cardiology, and neurological services available at Intermountain Medical Center and Primary Children's Hospital. That means Riverton Hospital is your first choice for quick, convenient emergency service and care.
