Sports related conditions/injuries acute and chronic. Concussion management. Specialize in the use of ultrasound to diagnose rotator cuff tears and other soft tissue injuries. Utilizing ultrasound for needle guidance in joint injections/aspirations and hydrodissections of nerve conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome. Specialize in platelet-rich-plasma for the treatment of chronic tendinopathies such as tennis elbow or shoulder impingement. Utilize percutaneous tenotomy (Tenex) for the treatment of chronic tendinopathies such as tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, patellar tendinopathy, etc..

As a physician board certified in sports medicine, I earned a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and a medical degree from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. I completed a family medicine internship and residency at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, followed by a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Utah Valley Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.
