Jerry and Carolyn Atkin are passionate about helping Intermountain Precision Genomics advance at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah. Their lead gift to the Cancer Center/Precision Genomics building project supported Intermountain Foundation at St. George Regional Hospital's Capital Campaign.

Jack Renouf, chair of the Intermountain Foundation at St. George Regional Hospital, calls his grandson, Walter his miracle grandbaby. Today Walter is a happy, healthy, and energetic four-year-old because of the excellent start he got in the NICU at St. George Regional Hospital.

Betty Ott has a big heart full of love to share. Betty and her late husband, Layton, sought ways to share their love by helping others. Their generous gift made local charitable lodging a reality in 2008 when the Layton and Betty Ott Jubilee Home II was created. The Jubilee Home serves as charitable lodging for families of patients receiving critical care at St. George Regional. Hundreds of families have been blessed by the Jubilee Home.

One in every three women is at risk of developing a form of cancer during her lifetime. For men, the chance is one in two. Experts are continually searching for cures and new ways to treat and manage cancer. Now is a remarkable time to be fighting cancer, especially in Southern Utah.
