Practice Focus
I?m a physical therapist practicing in an outpatient orthopedic setting. I treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal diagnosis including strains/sprains and post-operative conditions such as total joint replacement or ligament reconstruction. For years I?ve had a particular interest in overuse pathologies in cyclists and have worked extensively with recreational riders to professionals.
Personal Bio & Interests
I've been a therapist now for almost 37 years. I really enjoy the variety of diagnosis that I see. I never cease to be amazed at how resilient people can be in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges. I see my job as guiding the healing process in order to return my patients to an optimal level of activity. I enjoy motivating and teaching people to do things that they might not have imagined possible. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, cooking, cycling, hiking, listening to and performing music. I grew up mostly in Utah but have lived in various western states as well as in Europe. I have two married children who live nearby. That probably brings me the most satisfaction; seeing them learn and grow.
