When you come in for your first visit, a physical therapist will meet with you to assess the condition of your shoulder. They’ll test your shoulder’s motion, strength, and stability; they’ll also ask what activities you’d like to get back to doing. This information will help your therapist design a personal treatment plan that may consist of stretching, strengthening, manual treatment, or home exercises.

You can also choose to get a video analysis. During a video analysis, we’ll use special video technology to analyze your movements, such as throwing or golf swings, so we can help you prevent further injury when you return to your regular activity level.

Some of the common shoulder conditions our therapists treat include:

  • Rotator cuff injuries
  • Overuse injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Bursitis
  • Fractures
  • Dislocation (subluxation)
  • Trauma
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation

Video analysis is available to look at sports movements such as:

  • Throwing
  • Golf swing
