Utah state law requires that any athlete suspected of a concussion must be removed from the event and cannot return to play until cleared by a qualified healthcare provider.
Establishing a baseline of your congnitive function before starting a sport season makes it much faster and easier for a healthcare provider to accurately diagnose your level of injury. We use a computerized neurocognitive assessment tool called ImPACT testing along with other tests to collect a complete picture of your mental state. Once this data is collected, it can be used as a comparison following a brain injury to determine the extent of the damage.
Testing takes about 30 minutes for each athlete. We offer group discounts for whole teams.
