Improving patient care in our community
The Foundation of Valley View Medical Center was formed in 1977 and is set up to serve Valley View Medical Center. One of the Foundation’s objectives is to support this hospital by annually raising 5% of budget for capital funds in order to help expand our hospital and widening the breath services we provide to our community. Cash donations are 100% tax deductable, and all funds are placed in the areas of greatest need, unless otherwise specified by our donors. For example, these unrestricted funds have helped us build and equip the Sandra L. Maxwell Cancer Center, The Ellsworth Jubilee Home and the cardiac rehab facility. Your continued contributions will ensure that projects like these will continue to receive future funding and support.
The Foundation Board of Trustees consists of community members from across southern Utah. These Trustees offer up their time, talents and treasure to help organize and execute our fundraising events and capital campaigns.
