Welcome Jon Pertab, PhD

Intermountain Medical Group would like to welcome neuropsychologist Jon Pertab, PhD. Prior to joining our team,  Dr. Pertab was practicing with the Veterans Affairs Health Care System here in Salt Lake City.  
 
Dr. Pertab earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University and prior to this completed graduate training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. During his clinical career in New Zealand he worked at the Nelson Hospital Child and Adolescent Services and also worked in private practice for four years focusing on neuropsychological rehabilitation, anxiety disorder treatment, and health psychology with children and adults.  After graduating from BYU with his doctorate, Dr. Pertab spent some time serving as the Director of Neuropsychological Services at the Salt Lake City Center for Human Potential and is currently a member of the American Psychological Association.  He has published research in the area of pediatric and adult traumatic brain injury and is currently active in several neuropsychology research projects.  His clinical interests focus on assessment and rehabilitation treatments with patients who have neurological conditions.  He is looking forward to working with the patients and staff at the Neurosciences Institute.
