Experts to Answer Questions About Heart Disease, Treatments, and Heart Health

Salt Lake City—Intermountain Healthcare experts will share advice on keeping your heart healthy and the latest research and technologies treating heart disease during KUTV 2 News interviews and over the phone to callers on Tuesday, March 11, from 6 am to 6 pm.

At every stage in life, there are things you can do to improve your heart’s health. How do you know if you are heart healthy? Considering arrhythmia, cholesterol, congenital defects, diabetes, heart attack, heart failure, high blood pressure, stroke, obesity, and more, there are things to know about your heart and ways to help you avoid heart disease and plan for good health.

Those interested will be able to speak free of charge to one of the many experts, including doctors, nurses, educators, and other clinicians, or receive answers via Facebook or Twitter using #kutvasktheexpert, or by calling 877-908-0680.

Experts will be featured this month from Intermountain’s McKay-Dee Hospital, Primary Children’s Hospital, Intermountain Heart Institute at Intermountain Medical Center, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, and SelectHealth. On the second Tuesday of each month, Intermountain experts answer questions on that month’s health topic.
