Congressman Bishop recognizes Logan Regional on C-SPAN

Logan Regional Hospital and its 100-year history was the focus of a recognition presented by Utah Congressman Rob Bishop on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives to the House Speaker and members of the House on Wednesday, February 26. His message was also broadcast live on C-SPAN.

In his speech, Congressman Bishop outlined Logan Regional’s historical roots, from the opening of the Utah-Idaho Hospital in 1914 to the opening of Logan Regional Hospital at its current location in 1980.

He acknowledged the hospital’s and its predecessors’ success, in providing care to community residents of Cache Valley, as a result of many dedicated healthcare professionals who have worked in these facilities.

“The 100 years of continued healthcare services has been possible thanks to the professionals who have donated so much of their lives to provide excellence in healthcare to their patients. Logan Regional Hospital fulfills the dreams of its founders,” says Rob.
