Posted in Becker’s Hospital Review, the recognition was identified as a “personal list” from the journalists and editors of the ten most admired within healthcare “who have the most noteworthy accomplishments as well as a personal magnetism.” The CEOs “seamlessly protect the mission of healthcare while dealing with the numerous financial and regulatory challenges that confront their organizations,” according to the article.
Others among the most admired include Toby Cosgrove, MD, president and CEO of Cleveland Clinic; Glenn D. Steele Jr., MD, PHD, president and CEO of Geisinger Health System; and Nancy Schlichting, president and CEO of Henry Ford Health System.
