Personal Bio & Interests

Dr. Cannon graduated from the Brigham Young University with a B.S. in biochemistry before obtaining his medical degree from the University of Utah. Following an intern year at LDS Hospital, Dr. Cannon then completed 2 years in a diagnostic radiology residency at Washington University in St. Louis prior to switching over to radiation oncology. He completed his radiation oncology training at the University of Wisconsin, where he remained for several years as part of the radiation oncology faculty. Originally from Utah, Dr. Cannon was grateful to be able to return to his home state to practice within the Intermountain system. When not caring for patients, he enjoys the outdoors, particularly mountain biking and skiing, as well as spending time with his wife and four sons.
