Dr. McCulloch joins our Heart Failure, Transplant, and Artificial Heart Programs. He completed his fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic.
In addition to his passion for treating heart failure patients, Dr. McCulloch has a strong interest in echocardiography and the emerging field of cardio-oncology. He is also actively involved in research, having served as an investigator in several clinical trials for heart failure patients.
Dr. McCulloch joins us from the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and the Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. There, he served as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist.
Dr. McCulloch earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine where he was honored as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He continued on to Cleveland Clinic where he completed fellowships in both cardiovascular medicine and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
On a personal note, Dr. McCulloch enjoys running, mountain biking, hiking, and skiing—making Utah a great fit. He and his wife, Sarah, are busy settling their two young children in their new home.
