Coronary heart disease is the nation’s single-leading cause of death, according to the American Heart Association. About 1.2 million Americans have a coronary attack annually; about 452,000 of these will die.
In an effort to help community members reduce their risk for cardiac disease, Dixie Regional Medical Center is hosting its annual Heart Health Education Seminar on Wednesday, March 27 from 10 a.m. until noon in the Intermountain Healthcare Auditorium at 1424 E. Foremaster Drive (across the street south of the hospital’s River Road campus). The seminar is free, and will be followed by a complimentary lunch.
The seminar will feature three local physicians speaking on different heart-related topics.
