Personal Bio & Interests
Dr. Frank Bishop is a neurosurgeon who practices general neurosurgery and specializes in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. He received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Washington with College Honors distinction, with degrees in mathematics and zoology. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship and residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Utah, following which he pursued further sub-specialty training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation with a combined neurosurgical and orthopedic fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spinal surgery. After graduating fellowship, he practiced at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Montana, followed by Overlake Medical Center in Washington. He currently practices at the Southern Utah Neurosciences Institute at Dixie Regional Medical Center in Saint George, Utah, where he is helping to expand the spine health program. He is married with two children and enjoys traveling, hiking, and Japanese culture and cuisine.
