Personal Bio & Interests
I am a physical therapist practicing orthopedics and specializes in orthopedics and spine. I loved playing team sports in middle and high school which eventually led me to seek a career in physical therapy. I got my bachelor's from BYU and my master's in PT from Cal State Northridge. Then I completed an orthopedic residency at Kaiser Permanente. I moved back to Utah and started working for Intermountain in 2015 and landed at TOSH in 2018. My primary focus within orthopedics is neck and low back pain, but I also see a lot of mid back, shoulder, hip, and knee injuries as well. My family is what really drives me. I have a wonderful wife and 5 boys. They keep us extremely busy and it's very rewarding to watch them grow and develop into young men. We enjoy staying active through various means including cycling, running, swimming, soccer, skiing, hiking, rock climbing. My wife and I also consider ourselves amateur real estate investors and hope to continue to grow that part of our lives. Leslee Benson is my physical therapist assistant. She is vital to my success at TOSH and works with many of my patients. She's been at TOSH since 2014 and treats athletes, spine patients, and does pool therapy as well. She started being an aerobics instructor in 2000 and now teaches water aerobics. She has 6 grandkids and likes to swim, hike, and travel.
