Physical Therapy addresses problems and disorders that affect your child’s strength, flexibility, neurological function, and ability to be stationary in as well as move about in the environment.

The physical therapist (PT) evaluates and assists your child in:

  • Sitting
  • Crawling
  • Walking and running
  • Getting up and down from the floor 
  • Managing a wheelchair or assistive device
  • Their ability to get around in their environment and access parts of their environment they are currently unable to
