The LiVe Well Center will have classes and programs designed to help you eat well, move well, feel well, and be well. No matter what your goals are, our team of experts will be there to help you succeed.

Our team will evaluate your well being in several areas, including nutrition, physical activity, stress, sleep, relationships, and emotional health. Then, based on your results, we’ll make recommendations to help you achieve your goals and live a healthier life.

Be Well

Mindfulness & Stress Reduction Classes

Learn how meditation and living in the present can help you actively reduce stress and improve your quality of life.

Surgical Weight Loss Support Group

Develop relationships and get answers to your questions and concerns about life after weight loss surgery.

Healthy Lifestyle Support Group

After completing the Weigh to Health program or the Healthy Lifestyle program, receive ongoing support and accountability from the LiVe Well Center team to maintain healthy habits and minimize barriers.

Behavioral Change Support Consultations

Get support from a licensed social worker to identify your barriers to change and get help managing stress, strengthening relationships, and improving sleep.

Bereavement Support Group

The eight-session bereavement support group provides a supportive environment to grieve the loss of a loved one while learning skills to process your grief.

Nutrition Consultations

Meet individually with a registered dietitian to get a customized nutrition plan and support to improve your diet.

Resting Metabolic Rate Analysis

Measure the rate your body burns calories at rest to reveal the amount of calories you should eat and the amount of physical activity you should do to maintain or lose weight.

Grocery Store Tours

Tour a local grocery store with a registered dietitian who will teach you strategies for shopping on a budget, how to read nutrition labels, and tips for making healthier choices.

Healthy Meals in Minutes

Led by trained chefs and a registered dietitian, this multi-part class teaches you how to make healthy eating convenient and budget-friendly by incorporating meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, and the basic culinary skills needed to prepare quick, delicious, and healthy meals.

Nutrition 101

Learn the fundamentals of healthy, mindful eating with this four-week dietitian-led series.

Kids Cooking Class Series

Learn basic culinary skills while preparing healthy meals to share with your family. The best part? You'll get to eat your culinary creations at the end of each class! Test what you've learned with a MasterChef Junior-style cooking competition during the last class in the series.

Specialty Cooking Classes

Individual topic-based classes will teach you practical ways to cook for a crowd, prepare gluten-free meals, and incorporate more colorful produce into your meals.

Move Well

Functional Fitness Assessment

Test your flexibility, balance, muscular strength, and cardiovascular fitness then sit down with our exercise therapist to receive a customized exercise prescription for improving targeted areas of fitness.

Body Composition Analysis

Determine your body fat percentage and lean mass percentage using the Bod Pod.

Yoga for Back Pain

This gentle yoga program incorporates moves specifically designed to ease lower back pain--no previous yoga experience required.

LiVe Fit Class

Improve your fitness level to complete daily activities, hobbies and sports with ease. After a group warm-up, you'll work individually using your customized exercise prescription with support from our exercise therapist.

Build Me Up Class

Build strength and endurance to help perform activities of daily living with greater ease. The Build Me Up class uses seated resistance exercises and is appropriate for individuals with mobility challenges and who may be using assistive walking devices.

Fallproof Balance & Mobility Class

Fallproof Balance & Mobility provides a structured and progressive group program of activities designed to address the factors that contribute to balance and mobility. This specialized program has been proven effective in reducing the risk of falling in those at a moderate to high falls risk. It offers two levels to meet the needs of older adults seeking functional independence.

LiVe Well Center Orientation

Meet the LiVe Well Center team and learn which LiVe Well programs and services can help you live a healthier life at this free orientation.

LiVe Well Assessment

The LiVe Well Assessment evaluates all of the major areas of well being: nutrition, physical activity, stress, sleep, relationships, and emotional health. You will work with the LiVe Well Center team to review how you are doing in each area and put together a Wellness Profile with a game plan for improving your well being.

Weigh to Health Program

Lose weight and reduce your risk of developing type II diabetes through this dietitian-led 12 month program. Learn more about Weigh to Health.

Healthy Lifestyle Program

This six-month comprehensive program incorporates nutrition education, cooking classes, personal training, group fitness classes, accountability, and behavior change support in a way that teaches you skills for eating well, moving well, and living well in your busy life.

Intermountain Arthritis Program

Get help managing arthritis pain with nutrition education focused on an anti-inflammatory diet, specialized fitness classes, and stress management support. This program is excellent for those with chronic arthritis pain who may or may not be considering joint replacement or lower back surgery, as well as for those who have already had surgery and are looking to improve their quality of life.

Living Well with Chronic Conditions Class

A free six-week workshop series for those living with chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, asthma, chronic pain, depression, fatigue, and more. A licensed social worker and other professionals will give you tips and advice to help you live life to the fullest despite your condition.
