Each month, the LiVe Well Center will feature a one-hour interactive cooking class with a different theme. Learn cooking shortcuts to make healthy meals quickly, find out how to cook delicious meals around a campfire, learn food preservation techniques so you can enjoy the fall harvest year-round, and get tips for preparing a healthy holiday menu your entire family will enjoy.

Culinary World Tour - Thai Cuisine

Explore the flavors of Thai cuisine as we make some classics: Pad Thai and a Vegetable Red Curry. This class would make for a great date night as you learn to keep sweet, spicy, and sour components in harmony. After this class, you will have a better knowledge of what you can do with those curry pastes and coconut milk seen in grocery stores.

October – Party foods/Tapas/Appetizers

As the season for gatherings approach, learn how to make three different appetizers that are sure to impress – In our party foods, tapas, and appetizers class we will be making: Jalapeño Poppers, Tapenade, and Spinach Artichoke stuffed Won-tons.

Healthier Holiday Baking - Quick Breads and Muffins

Baking is a regular part of the holiday season. During this class we will emphasize making recipes with healthy ingredient twists in order to make: Apple Spice Bread, Cranberry Orange Muffins, and a Chickpea Blondie.

Warm Up Your Winter with Soups and Stews

Winter season is a cold time of the year; join us in making some delicious, hot soups to warm you up. We will be making Butternut Curry soup and a quick chicken enchilada soup. These soups are ready in under one hour and offer a great way to include some vegetables in your meals.
