This 1.2-mile walking path is perched on the edge of a hillside offering outstanding views of Logan and the Bear River Mountain Range. Walkers joggers and bicyclists have plenty of room to enjoy the trail as it winds through meticulously landscaped open space alongside the Boulevard in Logan.
The Boulevard Trail can be accessed from any point along Boulevard Street in Logan. Designated parking is available on the east end of the trail at 503 Boulevard, near 500 East and 300 North (41.736343, -111.821305). To reach the trailhead parking from 400 North and Main in Logan:
- Drive east on 400 North for 0.8 miles.
- Turn right onto 600 East.
- Turn right onto Boulevard (one-way) and continue 0.2 miles to the parking area on the left side of the road.
From the parking area, begin walking west. The trail passes through a mix of open vistas, groomed gardens, and mature trees as it winds its way along Boulevard.
After about 300 yards, a trail intersects on the left. This was once a paved road that connected Boulevard with Canyon Road, but is now closed to motor vehicles and serves as one of two connector trails between Boulevard Trail and the neighborhoods in the valley below. The second connector is located near the intersection of 100 North, across the street from the LDS Temple.
Just past the second trail intersection, the trail begins to descend a steep, winding grade. The sound of trickling water can be heard as the trail passes just above the Logan Canal, tucked away in the trees along the south side of the trail. The Boulevard Trail ends at 200 East. Return the way you came.
