Ask the Expert is an event hosted by KUTV News and Intermountain Healthcare. The day-long program features experts sharing advice on various health topics every second Tuesday of the month throughout 2014.

During news interviews and over the phone, experts will answer callers' questions regarding that month’s health topic.

Intermountain Healthcare medical experts will answer questions about a variety of important health screenings, including those for cancer, diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, child health, physical fitness, and others during interviews on KUTV Channel 2 and over the phone with callers on Tuesday, December 9, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Those interested can call 877-908-0680 to speak free of charge to one of the many experts, including doctors, nurses, and other clinicians, or receive answers via Facebook or Twitter using #kutvasktheexpert.
