Rob Hitchcock, President & CEO for Select Health, has executive oversight for Select Health strategy and operations, including service delivery for Select Health members.
Rob joined Select Health in August of 2022 as the president of government programs and chief value-based care officer and was named as the interim president & CEO in November of 2022, then officially named president & CEO in February of 2023.
Before joining Select Health, Rob built a distinguished 25+ year career in executive leadership roles for national insurance provider organizations. Most recently, he served as the chief operating officer for Carelon, a division of Anthem. He has held various executive leadership roles for other organizations, including Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Centene, and Humana.
In March 2024, Rob was named an honoree for CEO of the Year by Utah Business magazine, recognizing his leadership in the healthcare industry.
Rob and his wife Michelle are proud to call Salt Lake City, Utah, home.
