We’re excited to welcome Dr. Rebecca Phillips to our team at South Cache Valley Clinic.

Dr. Phillips grew up in Indiana and completed her undergraduate studies at Manchester College in Indiana. After graduating, she worked for an orthopedic surgery office near her hometown as a Certified Athletic Trainer rehabbing post-surgical and injured patients. She then received her degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her family practice residency at the MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan. Following schooling and training, she worked in Michigan with a hospital-based group of ten providers doing full family practice, including in patient and obstetrical care. In 2007, she and her family relocated to Utah and has been providing care at Intermountain InstaCares.

She is excited to have the opportunity to return to the practice of family medicine. She looks forward to redeveloping the partnership of care with her patients. She sees her role as a physician to help educate patients regarding evidence-based medicine, and how this promotes improved individual and community-based health. She is also an ally and hopes to provide an accepting, safe place for the LGTBQ+ community to receive care.

Rebecca is happiest when she is with her family. She has been married to her college sweetheart Chris, for the last 31 years. They have two daughters who are pursuing their passions of film making and horse training. In her free time, Rebecca works for her husband and daughter in their horse/mustang training business. She also enjoys traveling, hockey, and knitting.
